Today we are excited to announce Nick Perret as our new Generations Director of Vintage Church. Nick is born and raised in New Orleans, and in fact spent the majority of his childhood only a few blocks from our church ministry facility. Nick and his family have been at Vintage for many years and has served in various capacities at Vintage and other churches in New Orleans over the years. Since the Lord first drew Nick’s heart toward ministry, his passion has been to reach the young people of this beautiful city for His Kingdom. He believes they are the future.Read More
We are incredibly excited to share that Harbor Community Church from Lakeview is becoming a part of the Vintage Church Family. Pastor James Welch will be accepting a call to become the next Lead Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale in Florida. As he transitions to this great opportunity and new ministry the Harbor Church family is going to become Vintage Church family.
Pastor James and his family have faithfully served in New Orleans for over 13 years. In fact, James was actually our sending pastor and church when Pastor Rob Wilton and Annabeth were sent out to plant Vintage Church in Uptown. His church and ministry have impacted many lives in our region over the years. Through the years Pastor James has been an incredible friend, partner, and encourager for our church family, Pastor Rob, and our leadership team. We as a leadership team and church family are truly grateful for his faithfulness and friendship.Read More
We often fail to see how the little actions in life over a long period of time can lead to future impact in our lives and in our world. However, we’ve all seen those stories where one person did one thing for one person and it changed the world forever. We see this in the Bible. Individuals like Jesus, Peter, Paul, and others literally turned the world upside down.
A few weeks ago, Vintage Church unveiled our new 2-year ministry initiative, ANTICIPATE. This 2-year initiative is the vision and direction the Lord is calling Vintage Church to. As a part of this initiative, Vintage Church is committing the next two years to Future Impact. How will we experience future impact? One way is through Gospel Conversations.Read More
Happy New Year!
We hope that you and your family enjoyed a great Christmas season. As another year wraps up we celebrate the transformation, life change, and growth Jesus has brought in the lives of so many people. Thank you for your investment in our ministry, because without you this year would not have been possible. As we head into 2019 and anticipate what's next we believe that Jesus has more life change and impact to bring in this next year.
Would you prayerfully consider making a generous gift towards the Lord’s ministry through Vintage Church as we close out 2018?Read More
As we celebrated our 10th birthday as a church family yesterday, Pastor Dustin challenged us to anticipate our future. What are you anticipating God to do in your life, in our church, in our city, in our world?
Anticipation should bring us to prayer for the future.
This Sunday, we will be kicking off a new series, SHIFT, where we will look at the what Jesus has to say about our priorities—specifically our relationships, time, and money. A major focus of this series will be prayer and fasting. If we are anticipating God to move, we should be hitting our knees in prayer for that future! We’re going to rally together as a church family to pray for the next four Wednesday mornings from 6–7a. We will also be challenging our church to fast on these Wednesdays.
We hope you’ll join us in prayer and fasting as we look to SHIFT for our future!
Prayer & Fasting Resources
We have several resources on our website available for you to utilize as you consider joining us in this season of prayer and fasting. Check them out using the links below.
While we aren’t in the season of Lent, this devotional has a great introduction to prayer and fasting.
Pastor Robert has been an incredible part of Vintage Church leading our church both musically and creatively. He has faithfully served as an incredible shepherd to so many people within the life of Vintage Church, including his Music Arts Team.
Over the past couple of months, Pastor Robert Hargrove, Vintage Church’s Music Arts Pastor has been processing his calling to Vintage Church as well as New Orleans. After considerable prayer, Pastor Robert Hargrove and his family have accepted a call to become the Minister of Worship and Arts at First Baptist Church Frisco, TX.Read More
We celebrated the sending of Sean and Tiffany Englert to Pittsburgh to join Pastor Rob Wilton and the launch team this week. The Englerts have faithfully served at Vintage Church New Orleans in many different roles since 2008. Over the last year Pastor Sean has transitioned out of education and into pastoral ministry. Sean will serve as one of the pastors for Vintage Church Pittsburgh. This new Vintage Church will be planted in strategic partnership with the North American Mission Board’s SEND Network and Long Hollow Baptist Church.
"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest" (Matthew 9:37–38).
Of all the things that Sean and Tiffany would like prayer for as they transition the most important thing is for the “first salvation in Pittsburgh.” We’re dreaming of and asking for a harvest of 1,000’s in Pittsburgh, but at this time one of the most important things we can lift up over the next few months is for that 1st salvation. Will you join the Vintage Pitt Launch Team in praying for that 1st salvation?
If you’re interested in Pittsburgh, or partnering with Vintage Pitt, the upcoming Catch The Vision Tour July 31–August 2 is an incredible opportunity.

We are amazed at all that the Lord has done over the last decade in New Orleans and are excited to see all He is going to continue to do in New Orleans, Pittsburgh, and beyond in the next decade. We believe that the best is yet to come!

Watch some stories from other foster families:
We often associate missions and outreach as a separate area of our Christian lives and not something that is holistic and all-encompassing. We think to ourselves that we will go on mission if the church announces a mission trip somewhere, or even more, we will do outreach in our community if the church puts an outreach day together. Although mission trips and outreach days are not in themselves bad and they should happen, we should not be dependent on them in order to live on mission.Read More
At Vintage Church, we believe that community is so important. Coming to a Sunday worship gathering serves a significant purpose in someone’s personal and spiritual life, but even that alone will not be enough to provide the depth and focus that we all need to have a thriving life after Jesus. Because of this, we have vGroups, which are groups of 10-20 people who meet throughout the city for transformation, connection and multiplication. These vGroups are where men and women from all walks of life meet in people’s homes to fellowship, study God’s Word and pray together. Although vGroups are extremely important, we are also excited about our Life Groups. Life Groups are gender-specific groups of 3-5 people who meet regularly for the purpose of focused discipleship. We have some people who are in Life Groups already, but we want to see many more step people into this as well.Read More
