Please use the following guide in your prayer life through the MORE Initiative

Thank God for who He is, what He has done, and what He will do.  Our God is great and is worthy of all of our worship and praise.

Exodus 15:2; 2 Samuel 22:50; I Chronicles 16:9; Psalm 8; Psalm 21:13; Psalm 30:4
Psalm 47; Psalm 100:4; Psalm 150:6; Isaiah 12:5

“All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)  Spend a few moments confessing your sins to Jesus.  For those who are followers of Jesus, our sins are forgiven.  Confess and repent and thank God for your salvation and freedom from the bondage of sin.  For those who don’t know Jesus, repent and confess Jesus as your Savior.  We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus alone.

Ezra 10:1, 11; Daniel 9:4; Matthew 3:8
Luke 5:32; 2 Corinthians 7:10;
2 Peter 3:9

As believers in Christ, we have the privilege of praying for others. Spend some time interceding for people in these 5 spheres:

  • Family
  • Friends
  • Marketplace
  • World
  • Web

Acts 1:8; Romans 8:26–27;
I Timothy 2; Hebrews 7:25

“Prayer is where the action is.” (John Wesley)  We are going to close out our time asking for Christ to send us out by His Spirit.  God has called and commissioned each of us to make disciples of all nations.  Ask God to reveal to you how He might use you in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth.  Pray that God might use you today, and in the future, in such a way that only He gets the glory.

Isaiah 6:8; Matthew 28:16–20; 2 Corinthians 2:17; 2 Corinthians 3:1–6; I Timothy 6:12
Acts 18:9–10

We would love for you to unite with us in prayer every Wednesday morning from 6:30–7:15a at Vintage Jefferson (3927 Rayne St., Metairie).
